I’ve been having a hard time communicating what FeedSync does, and why it’s useful (marketing is really not my strong point).

I thought it’d be helpful to provide a more concrete list of features, and what better place to do that than on the blog!

Features

Current

• Fetch RSS feed entries every 5 minutes
• Non-bot Discord integration (relying on webhooks instead!)
• RSS feed parsing
• Custom feed rendering for Reddit, YouTube (and more on the way!)
• Rock solid performance

Roadmap

On the immediate roadmap:

• Filtering new feed entries by keyword
• Custom rendering for more feed types (already done for Reddit)
• Feed pausing
• Dark mode
• “Test connection” button for manual confirmation a webhook is working
• AI summaries or daily digests of feeds
• Customise webhook names and avatars
• Configurable refresh intervals
• Support forum channels
